Nice mountain, awesome staff! But you built a multi million dollar ski resort and then don’t allow dogs as if dogs urinating would be such an issue for the water. You built a massive ski resort on the land with how many buildings? You aren’t saving the environment and the water quality. Also take a look at the equipment around the resort you think dripping grease and oil and fuel into the ground is ok for the water? At least be logical! Because you make zero sense right now

Carl, a ski instructor, was amazing! I went from just going down a hill with no control and just fast, to being able to turn more confidently with snowplowing. I’m in Alta but Chickadee is the absolute perfect beginner chairlift. Enough pitch to get some practice, but not steep enough where it feels uncomfortable. Today was the first time I made it down Sunnyside without falling!

Snowbird, Utah is an outstanding ski destination that truly lives up to its reputation. Nestled in the beautiful Little Cottonwood Canyon, the resort offers breathtaking alpine scenery and a world-class skiing experience. The terrain is incredibly diverse, making Snowbird suitable for skiers of all levels—from beginners enjoying well-groomed runs to advanced and expert skiers seeking challenging steeps and deep powder. The slopes are well maintained, allowing visitors to make the most of their time on the mountain. Snowbird is especially known for its high-quality snow and long season, which adds to the overall appeal for winter sports enthusiasts. The resort facilities, dining options, and overall organization reflect a high standard of professionalism and care. Unfortunately, during our visit, the winter scenic tram ride and the mountain coaster were closed, which was a bit disappointing as they are popular attractions and would have added to the overall experience, especially for non-skiers or those looking for a relaxing way to enjoy the views. However, the natural beauty of the surroundings were stunning. Overall, Snowbird is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves skiing or simply wants to experience the beautiful mountain environment of Utah. Highly recommended for families, groups, and solo travelers alike.

Snowbird is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever snowboarded. The terrain is unreal, especially if you like steeps and long runs. The snow was insanely good and felt super light, and the views from the top are unreal. It definitely has more of a serious mountain vibe, but that’s what makes it so fun. Every run felt different and challenging in a good way. If you’re into real mountain riding and deep snow, Snowbird is 100% worth the trip. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Here on work trip. The shuttle is easy, the spa is awesome, had a great massage. Roof top pool and hot tub were great. The restaurant seventy one is great. The coffee shop is great. The only complaint I have is the room is outdated and poorly sound proofed. You can hear your next door neighbor talking, every door open and close.

Beautiful ski location. Absolutely stunning actually. Some of the lifts are very long giving you miles of sking downhill. If you plan on parking I'd recommend planning that early. We were lucky to get valet parking and it was worth every dollar. We used a icon buddy pass giving us a huge discount making it the same cost as Brighton. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Personally, I like Snowbird even more than Alta. It definitely has more runs, and you can ski toward both sides of the mountain, which makes exploring the area a lot of fun—but it does take some time with a map to figure out the lifts, trails, and the best routes to cover the mountain and move between Snowbird and Alta. For a moment, I thought I had reached Alta, only to realize I was actually on Mineral Basin. Then I had to figure out the route via Baldy—to get back to Alta. Skiing down from the aerial tram was hands-down the best run I had, and I think I took the lower Primrose Path. There’s a lot of opportunity to ski really fast here, but the terrain can change suddenly from flat to moguls, so you really need to stay alert. The tram itself is cool, but not the best experience once you’re inside—you have to stand in the middle and can’t see outside. There’s also a tunnel at the top that connects to the other side of the mountain in case you miss the tram. That was totally new to me—I had no idea something like that existed, and it’s a solid way to ski across the peak. Some runs gets very technical here—it gets narrow and has sudden sharp turns, so you either need to go slow or be very confident. Overall, the coverage is excellent, and there’s no way to hit all the trails in a single day. I had a fantastic time and I’m sure I’ll be back again next year.

Best place ever! Great quality food, good variety snow and runs. They have enough for beginners, intermediates and experts. Every single lift has at least one beginner way down. Else incredible tree runs great exploration easy to memorize. Love snowbird, come here every winter. Also in the summer, there is awesome hiking.
